Everything you here about pregnancy cravings include ice cream and pickles. That has not been the case for me.

For me all my cravings have been fruit. More specifically, organic strawberries.

Unfortunately for me, it is winter time. Not a great time for strawberries.

Finding strawberries in the dead of winter is like finding a snowflake in an oven. Nearly impossible.

I check for the availability of these strawberries like I imagine some check their lotto numbers.

Today I was lucky.
My husband not so much.

There was a veritable blizzard going on outside and he made his way to the store in the snowstorm.

To make him feel better I told him that maybe it was the baby that wanted it to!

“Sure…” he said.

Either way, strawberries made my day! Nothing better than strawberries in the snow!
