Dear Ella,
You don’t know it but we’ve been in Paris and London for the past few days. We celebrated Chinese New Year in Europe with your father!
You also don’t know it but we had afternoon tea in my favorite tea store Fortnum and Mason. My grandmother, your great grandmother loves the Chamomile tea from this store so I make sure to get her some tea every time we are in London.
I love your father so much. We have been together for almost 10 years in April. While in London, he bought me a beautiful bracelet that I wanted. We are a little bit too early for our anniversary, and even though Valentines day is a couple weeks away we are even too early for that. I got him a bookbag too. We really love each other so much Ella. You were born from a tremendous amount of love between two people. We rarely fight and we laugh 100 times more than we fight a year.
He is such a great man and I know you will love him too. He loves me so much and we are so excited to meet you and hope that you will be a good person and inherit all this love we have for each other. You also have a pretty cool dog waiting for you, his name is Toby. He has no idea what is in store for him and in a way neither do you. I imagine our world will be filled with lots of hugs, snuggles and love.
Today your father said I was having a happy pregnancy. That I have been mostly happy and not moody or strange like most pregnant women. That’s true. J That’s because he’s been great and so have you! Except for the morning sickness stuff in the beginning but I forgive you. You and I have been going to the gym together and we’ve been keeping strong for the day that we’ll meet! Your birthday!
I think you’re also going to love fruit because I’ve been eating a lot of fruit for you. Lots. Tons. Trying to stay as healthy as possible.
I think I’m catching a cold and have been drinking a lot of different things to try and fight off the tickle in my throat. One of the things I drank today was a fresh pressed Ginger juice. With apple and lemon. I have noticed that anytime I drink something Ginger, you have hiccups in my belly! I think its funny because when I drink Ginger tea, it gives me hiccups too. You made me laugh today. I hope you have a good sense of humor outside of the womb as you seem to have inside.
I think I’m going to take you to a proper Afternoon Tea seating tomorrow. It will be great! J I have big plans for us in the future! Muahahahaha !
Love,
Mom
